Equipment Technician
We are seeking experienced professionals in the energy field for a major tendering opportunity with a leading oil and gas client in Qatar. The roles relate to technical research, exhibition development, and operational support.

Job Purpose:
To ensure the reliable operation, preventive maintenance, and technical integrity of all audiovisual systems, interactive installations, and digital equipment, supporting seamless exhibition functionality and visitor engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of all technical equipment, including AV systems, touchscreens, projection systems, control interfaces, and interactive displays.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and system health checks in accordance with operational schedules.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with specialized external vendors and suppliers for advanced repairs or system upgrades.
- Maintain technical logs, maintenance records, and incident reports.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new or upgraded equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical regulations.
- Provide on-site technical support during events, VIP visits, and peak operational periods.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, AV Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in AV systems, exhibition technologies, or facility technical operations.
- Experience with interactive display systems and digital installations preferred.
