About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy & Growth
- Identify and qualify strategic leads aligned with Ibtechar’s innovation services and national priorities
- Maintain a healthy, well-forecasted pipeline and track conversion metrics
- Collaborate with operations and finance to validate project feasibility and pricing
- Client & Partnership Management
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with government clients, ecosystem partners, and key stakeholders
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements that ensure mutual value
- Ensure smooth handovers from BD to delivery teams
- Proposal & Service Development
- Lead the development of winning proposals and tailored innovation solutions
- Co-create solutions based on deep client needs analysis and strategic gaps
- Industry Representation & Thought Leadership
- Representing Ibtechar at strategic forums, events, and client engagements
- Contribute to publications and whitepapers that position Ibtechar as a thought leader
- Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Coach and develop junior BD team members in client engagement and proposal writing
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture within the BD function
Who We’re Looking For
- Based in Qatar with bilingual fluency in Arabic and English.
- 7–10+ years of experience in business development, consulting, or innovation advisory
- Big 4 or top-tier consulting background strongly preferred
- Proven track record in public sector engagement, proposal leadership, and strategic sales
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
